K.A. Wright

Born in Southern Louisiana, K.A. Wright is a bestselling children’s author, NAACP Image Award-nominated actor, visionary, and change agent using the power of storytelling to inspire children and create meaningful global impact.

As the creator of Perfect, Just Like You!, his mission is to empower children around the world to love and embrace their own differences while learning to respect, acknowledge, and embrace the differences of others. Since 2019, his work has reached audiences nationally and internationally, with appearances and engagements at Midgard School in Kyiv, Ukraine, IDEA Public Schools, American InterContinental University, Discovery Green, NJPAC’s Author Expo, elementary schools throughout Texas and Louisiana, and numerous television, radio, podcast, and community platforms.

Wright’s vision reaches far beyond the pages of a book. He is building Perfect, Just Like You! into a global children’s brand spanning television, education, live experiences, and purpose-driven partnerships created to entertain, educate, inspire, and make a lasting difference.

At the heart of his work is one powerful belief: we all have a responsibility to leave the world a little better than it was yesterday. His goal is to help shape a generation of children to feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are, while empowering them to extend that same respect and acceptance to others.
